Our People & Management Structure


Over the years, Innodis Group has seen its workforce rise to some 1,400 individuals, whose talents are pooled together to deliver optimum results in productivity. Having their roots in various social and ethnic backgrounds, our employees form a corporate cultural melting pot.

Our human capital define who we are. The combined talents, skills, knowledge, experience and passion of our staff create value for the Group and for our stakeholders. They give us our competitive edge. Some of our employees have been serving the Group for well over 40 years.

We have created an environment that is conducive to the free expression of ideas and talents. We are continuously working towards improving interaction and relationship with our employees as well as their union representatives.

 

Our employees are afforded flexibility to achieve their individual goals while supporting the objectives of the company. All staff are given the opportunity to partake in pension schemes and health care insurance as well as a wide range of activities for human development.

 

Sport tournaments, health workshops, product tasting, team-building activities and other events are being held all year round to ensure that our employees do not only come to Innodis to work, but also to learn and grow as individuals.

 

At the apex of this dynamic workforce, the management team has been critical in shaping the success of the Group and in making it one of the leaders in Mauritius in the food and distribution sector.

« J'ai été recruté en 1974 pour travailler sur la ferme de Plaisance. J'étais l'un des premiers employés. A l'arrivée des premiers poussins de parentaux en septembre 1974, j'ai commencé à travailler à l'intérieur des bâtiments, qui fut notre première expérience en matière de démarrage d'un lot. Nous étions de véritables pionniers. Le travail était dur et on ne badinait pas avec la discipline. En 1975 j'étais transféré au Hatchery. En 1980 j'étais employé comme chauffeur de camion au Processing Plant et j'ai passé 8 ans à Beau Climat. Finalement en 1988 j'étais transféré au couvoir. Je considère que j'ai eu une carrière longue et satisfaisante. Ma famille et moi-même, nous avons trouvé notre bonheur au sein de la Compagnie."

SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

 

Our Chief Executive Officer, Jean-Pierre Lim Kong, is responsible for providing strategic leadership and for the overall management of Innodis Ltd, as well as having oversight over the performance of the subsidiaries of Innodis Ltd.

 

Our General Manager - Commercial, Sonny Wong Lun Sang, is responsible for the commercial operations of Innodis Ltd. Our Marketing, Sales and Logistics departments fall under his responsibility.

 

Our General Manager - Innodis Poultry Ltd, Reynolds Moothoo, heads our main fully-owned subsidiary, Innodis Poultry Ltd, which regroups our poultry operations. Reynolds also oversees our regional development in agri-business, namely our poultry business in Mozambique.

 

Our General Manager - Production, Rahim Bholah, is responsible for our dairy production facility in Phoenix, and also heads our rice milling facility.

 

Our General Manager of Poulet-Arc-en-Ciel Ltée, Gerard Wong Chong, heads the operations of our fully-owned subsidiary engaged in the production of chicken and located at Beau Vallon.

 

Our Group Finance Manager, Vivek Ramtohul, is responsible for all the financial operations of the Group, including the preparation of accounts and debt management and recovery.
