Le Poulet Fermier is our special breed of naturally slow-growing free-range chickens. They reach adulthood in approximately 65 days, and from chicks to full grown adults, they have complete freedom to roam outdoors in a natural environment, where they freely peck the soil for micro-organisms and enjoy the warm sunshine. They are also fed a complementary diet of wholesome cereals which results in an even more nutritious and great tasting meat. Le Poulet Fermier is the only commercial brand of free-range chicken available on supermarket shelves in Mauritius, and further evidence of our commitment to sustainability by preserving traditional farming methods.
