Our History

What is today known as the Innodis Group started out in 1973 as Mauritius Farms Ltd, a family-run business.

Mauritius Farms was a poultry farming operation and under the inspirational and forward-thinking leadership of Sir René Seeyave Kt., CBE the business expanded quickly to become the leading food production and food distribution company in Mauritius. Solid, lasting partnerships, with some of the world’s leading companies, have been forged over the years, cultivating a culture of excellence that endures today. Our rich heritage has been marked by memorable events that have each played a significant role in our growth, bringing us to where we are today.
